What we collect
Depending on how you use this site, we may collect: your email address (Join the Lab, the Human Prosperity Audit); your name (optional, on Contribute forms and the Audit); your responses to the Human Prosperity Audit and the resulting scores; content you submit through the Contribute forms (observations, stories, proposals); and standard analytics/attribution data (such as which page referred you, or campaign parameters in a link).
What we don't collect
We do not ask for or store your date of birth, medical or mental-health diagnoses, medications, financial account details, therapy history, or precise location.
How we use it
To send you the content you asked for (a newsletter subscription, your Audit results, a purchased report), to respond to submissions, and — only if you separately opt in — to send occasional Lab updates. Completing the Audit does not automatically subscribe you to anything; marketing consent is a separate, optional checkbox.
Where your data goes
We use third-party services to operate this site: an email provider (currently Kit, formerly ConvertKit) for newsletter delivery; Formspree for Contribute form submissions; and, for the Human Prosperity Audit, Stripe for payment processing and a database provider for storing your Audit responses and report. Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf. We do not sell your data to anyone.
AI-generated content
If you purchase a personalized Human Prosperity Report, your Audit scores (not your name or email) are sent to an AI provider to generate your report content. We do not use your individual responses to train any AI model.
Local storage (not cookies)
While taking the Human Prosperity Audit, your in-progress answers are temporarily saved in your browser's local storage so a refresh doesn't lose your progress. This stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by reaching out through the Contribute page. We will not sell or share your identifiable responses publicly — any results shared on the Lab site are aggregated or anonymized.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Lab's tools evolve. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
