Aliveness as Information

What happens when you treat moments of aliveness as data rather than distraction?

01

The Shift

Many people are trained to treat what excites or energizes them as unserious — a distraction from 'the real plan.' The Lab is testing what happens when that signal is logged instead of dismissed.

02

The Experiment

  1. Each evening for seven days, write down one moment when you felt genuinely alive, interested, or energized — however small.
  2. Note what you were doing, who was present, and what the moment required of you.
  3. Do not analyze yet. Just collect.
03

Now Go Live It

  • On day seven, read all seven entries together and look for a pattern in conditions, not just content.
  • Ask what those moments have in common structurally — pace, autonomy, people, stakes, creative control.
04

What Did You Notice?

  • What conditions kept showing up across your aliveness log?
  • Where in your current life are those conditions present or absent?
  • Did anything on the list surprise you?
05

Why This May Have Happened

Aliveness is a compressed signal — it often arrives before you can consciously articulate why something fits. Logging it without immediately explaining it away preserves the signal long enough to actually study it.

06

Take This With You

This is not a life-plan generator. It is a data-collection practice. What you do with the pattern is a separate, later decision.

Submit Observation

What did you notice when you ran this? Your observation helps the Lab refine the experiment and the underlying inquiry.
